Jacob Hibbard

Jacob Hibbard is the Northwest Regional Field Coordinator for the Leadership Institute.

Jacob has been interested in politics since he was in elementary school when he volunteered for his first campaign. He participated in the Iowa caucuses of 2008, and was a youth delegate to the Iowa Republican State convention that same year.

Prior to joining the Leadership Institute’s Campus Leadership Program, Jacob was the host of The New Guards Show on KTalk radio in Utah; an active state delegate in the Utah Republican Party; president of the Brigham Young University College Republicans; and founder and president of the Brigham Young University Young Americans for Freedom.

Jacob is passionate about political philosophy, history, and the intersections between religion, culture, philosophy, and politics. He is a conservative because of his belief in the timeless principles articulated in the Declaration of Independence and enshrined in the United States Constitution by the American Founding Fathers.

In addition to politics, Jacob enjoys spending time with his wife and son, watching college football and cheering for his beloved LSU Tigers.
